This page explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. J.R. Photography is a portrait photography business in Grand Island, Nebraska. Antonio Castaneda is the legal representative for the business.

What we collect

The only information you actively give this site is what you type into the inquiry form on the contact page:

When you submit the form, our website host also records the date, time, and the IP address the submission came from. This is standard practice and is used to identify and block spam.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you and to plan your session. That's all. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or share it with anyone for marketing purposes.

Where it is stored

This website is hosted by Netlify. Inquiries you submit are stored in our account with Netlify and emailed to us so we see them promptly. Netlify is a U.S. company and handles the data on our behalf under its own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as they're useful for running the business — answering questions, planning sessions, and keeping a record of past work. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising, and uses no analytics or visitor-tracking tools. Nobody is following you around the internet because of this website.

The site does load its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from Google's servers. Google receives your IP address as part of that request, as it would for any website using the same service.

Photographs

Photographs of clients appear on this site only where the person photographed — or their parent or guardian, for anyone under 18 — has signed a photo release giving permission. If you are pictured on this site and want your photographs taken down, contact us and we will remove them.

Children

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Sessions involving minors are arranged with a parent or guardian, who signs the paperwork.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do it. There's no form to fill out and no charge.

Changes to this page

If how we handle information changes, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.

Contact

For anything on this page — a question, a correction, a deletion request — use the inquiry form on the contact page and say what you need. It reaches us directly.

A note on this policy. This is written in plain language to be genuinely useful rather than to cover every legal contingency. It is not legal advice, and it hasn't been reviewed by an attorney. If the business grows or starts handling payments online, it's worth having a lawyer or a legal aid service look it over.
